Bona Dea Series
Call of the Goddess by Elizabeth N. Love (Book 1)
On the faraway planet of Bona Dea, in a society forged by ancient settlers, trouble is brewing. Young psychic Axandra, never comfortable with her gift, is being forced to use it for the benefit of her people as ruling matriarch of the entire world and host to a powerful entity known only as the Goddess.
Struggling with her fate, used as a pawn between warring factions, life for Axandra is almost too much to bear. Even the ministrations of her beloved companion, Quinn, may not prove powerful enough to overcome the stress threatening to destroy Axandra's fragile soul.
Army of the Goddess by Elizabeth N. Love (Book 2)
While recovering from her near mortal wounds inflicted at the hands of the Goddess and her Stormfly species, Axandra Saugray must prepare her people for war, a state of existence not experienced by the human race in over three hundred years.
Abductions make the highways unsafe. Violence strikes without warning among peaceful villagers. The environment escalates toward battle as the Goddess builds an army of human captives, each host to a powerful, energetic parasite known by the people as Stormflies.
Continuing the story of the planet Bona Dea, Army of the Goddess delves deeper into the traditions and culture of a human colony struggling to survive drastic upheaval of their peaceful way of life.

Will the couple be able to find a future together, or will regret, guilt and secrets destroy their troubled romance?
Sick of violence, fear and death, Sergeant Mike O'Connor is ready for a change. Separating from the service and distancing himself from his aggressive, wacky family, Mike is glad to focus on work, school and the beautiful French instructor he keeps meeting all over campus.
Though Camille's elegance speaks to Mike's soul, he fears the gorgeous biracial woman is out of his league. Camille, however, is determined to prove to Mike that he's worth more than he realizes; that is, if meddling relatives and unseen threats don't destroy their hopes for a beautiful future.

Alina Popescu - If a werewolf can do it…
Whenever I write stories that have a strong romantic element, I try very hard to drive a certain point home. And that paramount idea I try to drill into my readers is that if you’ve failed once, you need to get up, dress your wounds, heal, and try again. It does not matter how many times you’ve failed, unless you try, you will never get it right. Just talk to my character Alexa, she’s gone through a fair share of failed relationships and complications, and I’ve only published two books in her series, Bad Blood.
I chose to focus on this part of Shiki’s story – him losing his mates – because, like many other people of both the real and imaginary variety, he thought that if he had already failed once, he couldn’t and wouldn’t find love again. In the end, werewolves mate for life, right? Probably, if all goes according to plan. But sometimes it’s not that straightforward. Not that relationships are not hard work, but once you’ve failed, you have to put the work in both dealing with your new issues and in helping a new romance bloom.
It’s about trust, about how you view yourself, about how you question your desirability and ability to partner with someone, be intimate and exposed all over again. The second, third, fourth time around always take more strength and courage than the previous relationship, tons more than that first love where you went all in, innocent and dreamy.
Probably having a lot of stories that focus on a first love that, despite hiccups and bumps, lasts forever (sometimes unhealthily so) doesn’t help much. Fairy tales end with the perfect wedding, and a non-descript happily ever after. Of course, Prince Charming and their significant other don’t fight, don’t get lazy, don’t ever grow apart while on page. And they never get a divorce!
Life doesn’t work that way, and sometimes your very best is not enough because of so many reasons, it will make your head spin. It does not matter you shouldn’t give your all the next time around. In the end, if a werewolf can do it, so can you!
Ragan's Song by L.A. Remenicky
It only took one look into his eyes for her to know she was in trouble.
Adam Bricklin has heard the melody in his head for years, the melody that told him if a decision was
right or wrong. When he met Ragan Newlin the song told him she was the one. He was devastated when circumstances tore them apart. It has taken three years for Adam to finally move past the heartbreak he suffered when Ragan left town in the middle of the night. No note, no email, no text. She was just gone. Now he has a new girlfriend, a new album in the works, and his daughter is doing well in school. Until the day Ragan returned to Fairfield Corners.
Ragan came home to celebrate her parent’s anniversary hoping they would forgive her for not telling them about her marriage or her son. When she discovered that Adam was still living in Fairfield Corners
she hoped her secrets were safe; secrets that drove her away three years ago, secrets that could change their lives forever.
L.A. Remenicky is a 40-something wife and mother to 3 furkids. She writes Love Stories With A Twist. Writing wasn’t even on her radar until a friend introduced her to NaNoWriMo in 2012. She signed up, wrote 50,000 words that November, and she hasn’t looked back.

The Crown of Stones Magic - Price by C.L. Schneider
Enthralled, I abandoned my other sword and started digging. Loosening the soil, I tugged on the artifact and it didn't take long for the dirt wall to collapse and my prize to come free. As I lifted it out of the hole, I shook it clean.
Fashioned like a King's crown, the circlet was pure perfection.
The others, the soldiers around me, wouldn't see it that way. They couldn't feel its magic, couldn't taste it. They had no idea the pleasure it could offer. Yet, simply looking at the stone crown opened a familiar, sinking, wrenching pit of need in my gut.
Sweat beaded then poured off my skin. Tremors erupted deep inside me, rivaling those that split the valley floor. I was suddenly so empty, so hungry. As I lifted it out of the hole, I shook it clean.
